New N1 service to commence Thursday 7th December running an hourly service between Birkenhead, Liverpool & Allerton Library. Ran by Stagecoach
New night service introduced, operating between Birkenhead Bus Station and Allerton Library via Liverpool City Centre. Operating Thursday night/Friday mornings, Friday night/Saturday mornings and Saturday night/Sunday mornings only.
Please note that weekly, monthly, saveaway and dayrider tickets will not be accepted and a standard fare of £2 will apply.

I don't know I would think Gillmoss because the bus starts earlier in Allerton instead of Birkenhead I also think Gillmoss will operate it as it has more buses

Just seen the timetable. That is going to be a tall order within the max 5½ hours domestic driving rules unless they are stand alone duties with a paid ½ hour break before or after the duties.

Why go that way in the first place, surely the quicker route would be Duke Street, Park Road North & Conway Street?

Maybe to keep it off 20mph roads as much as possible , because legally speaking a timetable can not break a legal speed limit anywhere , dont forget birkenhead has a myriad of 20mph roads.
