I wonder whether the referee in the Tranmere Rovers v Swindon could have taken a further inspection on Saturday morning before passing the ground as frozen and called the match off as the temperature on the saturday was well above freezing , but was called off after a noon inspection on the Friday , considering how many teams actually managed to play that day im surprised it was clled off so early. Tranmere Rovers have always had a problem in cold weather as the sun in the winter months is behind the Bebington Kop stand and prevents the sun reaching the playing surface which could have made the surface playable . |
