RE: Jurby Transport Museum
Ex Lothian Buses Leyland Atlantean 634 GSC 634X has arrived at Jurby last weekend to be dismantled for spare parts for the Museum's other Atlanteans and also for the body specific parts to be sold on. Some parts have already been removed from the vehicle however it is largely still in tact. Work on dismantling ex Portsmouth Atlantean 144 CMN-44-C has not progressed for a number of weeks Last week there was a "drive out" which saw Atlantean 45 MAN-3432 and Bedford YRQ 45 MAN-1935 take part from the Museum's fleet whilst Titan 2 KMN-504 also took part on the day. Three other vehicles from the Museum's collection - the JCK ERF tipper truck, the Sentinel steam wagon and the Foden flat wagon. A privately owned Model T bus also took part |
