The VLW (can't remember which one) has more than likely returned to Birkenhead now 4434 is here
4412 is currently on loan at Bootle in exchange for 4434

Apparently the 6 is being withdrawn in July, not sure if the 7 will be increased to rerouted in anyway to cover, we will see

The actual end of an era then given its run since the trams finished, virtually unchanged

Think Warrington journeys should be numbered 7H, or H7 lol.

I think having a suffix letter for the shorter journey to Huyton (e.g. 7A) would be better than having one for the full-length route to Warrington

My thinking was something similar to the old H5 like H7 or 7H for Warrington journeys lol.

Out of interest, why was the letter H used?

The route used to be a Crosville route before deregulation in 1986. Crosville used to use letter prefixes for operating areas and H was for those operating out of Edge Lane depot for its Liverpool routes. Chester routes had a C prefix. There's a site somewhere that will give the whole alphabetical list of Crosville operating areas.
