Now we know new Bus orders have been cancelled it makes me think back to this Feed i made back in Aug 2015, It looks likely that some of DB/Arriva could be sold on in the near future with the Financial position they are in. I think you will probably find all non core DB Rail activity will be under scrutiny in a sell off . This includes all Arriva operations bus and train operations , and probably the DB Cargo brand outside of Germany. The cancellation of bus orders is a cost cutting exercise , there is just enough vehicles in the fleet countrywide to get away with it just once though. |

Apparently the German government has delayed a partial sale of Arriva because they weren't happy with the proposals which DB put forward. |

If, as has been reported, Arriva's new bus order has been cancelled I do wonder what will become of those vehicles that were already in-build? Surely the order has been temporarily suspended not cancelled. |
