Reason I ask is that as I was heading past the Barony playing fields into Nantwich yesterday afternoon I saw a dekker turning right at the traffic lights towards Crewe and it had a full rear destination panel, it showed 84 & a destination but I was too far away to read what it said, the paintwork also looked darker than normal too. We did indeed push out 4490 on the 84 short yesterday with the intention of swapping it over with 4100 at Crewe. This however did not occur due to operational reasons. It was swapped over early this morning I believe. |

RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
It seems yesterday (fri) 2617 wasn't too happy as it promptly failed in weaverham around 15:30 & smelled like it'd overheated as I drove past!!! Ahhh the centros, passengers don't mind em but the drivers despise the things! After all the faults rly can't say I blame em lol, there's only a few I rate meself which are: 2608 - Spent a lotta time doing nowt while it had engine repairs but has settled right down now. 2609 - The hoovering centro, loudish n reasonably nippy. 2619 - Reasonably noisy engine wise & pretty damm quick with the right driver too! Copey are the centros ever gonna get an interior refresh? Just lately heard a few passengers moaning that their looking very shabby now, seen as how they're 56 plates & now 9yrs old nearly isnit about time they had some tlc??? |

Noted this wk, macc have 2501 to cover for a solo which I presume is either off for repairs/maintenance etc, or on loan? Also spotted 2614 seemingly withdrawn in the yard at winsford, nxt to it was 2447? With rear end accident damage, IE rear light lens smashed etc. |

Nice always liked the ALX300s meself, good buses to have about. Has 2267 got the bench style seats or the newer variety? If its the benches they're soooo comfy |
