Unfortunately though they are at a stage in their lives where major components are likely to need replacing. For example 4104 has been sent away for engine replacement and 4107 for gearbox repairs. The two ex London Geminis 4215 and 4216 seem to be settling down and giving good reliability so I would hope that it is not one of them that has been towed in today. 4103 seems to be the best of the ex Southport B7's at the present time. If they can all be sorted out then they are a great improvement over the DB250's from a driver and passenger point of view. There is talk of brand new vehicles for the 84 in 2016 rather than using ex London deckers. There is likely to be major timetable changes in March 2015 to improve the timekeeping on the 84 longs after a lengthy review of the route. |

So why did we get the B7s when Liverpool area have known for ages that they've been desperately short on capacity shouldn't they have kept them might have cut this problem http://busncoachfleetlists.comli.com/ The new fleetlist site containing lots of new things Currently the Macclesfield photographer for anything Arriva Macclesfield and Winsford, Arriva Wythenshawe, High Peaks, Aimees, Holmeswood, GHA and anything else I photograph My blog http://maccbusspotter.blogspot.co.uk/ |

Merseyside were then able to get the new deckers and had reasonably new vehicles to trade in return rather than bring back the B7's. |
