22462 has now entered service at Walkergate depot (more on that in a moment), while 22666 has returned to Sunderland from Hartlepool and is now parked around the back of the depot with 22672/3. 22494/664 has transferred to West Scotland.

11 Enviro400s from Walkergate depot are earmarked for use as part of the Commonwealth Games fleet in Glasgow. As such, 5 MAN ALX300s from reserve are to be reinstated at Walkergate while Stockton's Tridents have moved to Walkergate in the last 2 days as cover during the school holidays.

22494 can be seen here in Dumfries.

Unsure if this is the right thread but i seen 21101 this morning on the back of a low loader in lowton/leigh heading towards manchester along the east lanchishire road.

Strange day in Newcastle today.

No sign of any of the 19430-46 batch of deckers on service 1 despite these usually being the mainstay of this service.

Also various reserve vehicles from outside Newcastle appeared on other Walkergate services. I noted 22214 and 22731 on 22s, 22666 on 12s and 22673 on 38s. Regular reserve vehicles 22462 and 22672 also put in an appearance.

Lack of Enviro400s would be because 19437-46 and 19683 have gone up to Gleneagles for the Ryder Cup this week.

Olympians 16833/9 have transferred from Stockton (disposal) and Stockton to Sunderland Reserve, while 16834 has been reinstated at Stockton to compensate for the lost of 16839.

Enviro300s so far delivered to Stockton are 27157-9/61 (SN64 OJF/G/H/K) while 27160 (SN64 OJJ) is showing up on the DVLA check as registered on Friday.

Enviro300 delivered so far are 27157-65 (SN64 OJF/G/H/J/K/L/M/O/P). 27157 and 27160 entered service on the 10th October, while 27158 has been out on the road for a week on driver familiarisation runs without any fleet names, fleet numbers or legals.

News from opposite ends of the age scale:

Olympian 16839 has now been moved from Busways Reserve (Sunderland) to Disposal due to Chassis Corrosion.

Meanwhile, further Enviro300s into service are:

14th October 2014: 27159
15th October 2014: 27163
16th October 2014: 27161/2/4/5

The first branded examples have been delivered in the form of 27166/7 (SN64 OJR/S) which carry the orange 'Time Zone' 'The Zone' branding presently being rolled out.
