2992 was still parked in Bootle this morning. 3134 has definitely returned to Birkenhead (on the 414 today). 2226 and 2517 were on the 52/52A today among a handful of Enviro400s. Whilst I think that 'deckers are a bit of an overkill on the more-frequent 52s/52As (but still a welcome sight), I do think that they should be allocated to late boards if anything as they can get quite busy of a night - a particular overcrowded journey is the 19:16 52A off of Sir Thomas Street after a gap in service of over 20 minutes (when nothing leaves there, Bootle-wise, between 18:55 and 19:16)! According to the Arriva North West Facebook page 7669 is due to go to the bodyshop today for repaint prior to transferring to Yorkshire |
