Express Travel also tried an X38 (Limited Stop between City Centre and Wavertree Clock IIRC) however that didn't last too long either!

I remember that one. They used ELC Spryte darts for this service. Plus from what I can remember, it mirrored MerseyRider's 38 all the way to Halewood.

But X38 was limited stop and hourly IIRC, this should be more useful. And it had competition. This will give Lee Prk and Gateacre Village a bus service to town again. Funny, I sent letters to Ace & other operators with some suggestions about 12 months ago....

People have been saying this since the day stagecoach took over wigan
