YJ11-OJK was operating a 307 yesterday. Saw it at 5pm on Bird Hall Lane heading towards Morrisons. It's a grey Solo SR M890. I assume it's another bus on hire / demonstration. I haven't seen any 'new' (used loosely) hire / demonstators with MCT for several months......not since they received some Optare Versa Hybrid's. They appear to have 7 (well, on the road anyway). Can anyone confirm if this is correct or otherwise?

There Hybrid Solo's not Versa's.
I haven't counted myself but their supposed to have 10 Hybrid Solo's plus the TFGM owned Hybrid used on the Oldham Metroshuttle.

I think they still have a couple of Minstral long term loans, there's still a couple of plain white Enviro200's knocking about with them.

There Hybrid Solo's not Versa's.

Notice gone up recently stating, end of october is when registrations for won tenders for Jan 2014 onwards will be registered. Afaik these tenders are Rochdale and Oldham based. So end of next montb should see quite a few registrations...

Looks like MCT will be losing some work at the end of the month, as the Oldham Metroshuttle will be withdrawn from 26 January. This will be in line with the re-routing of Metrolink through Oldham town centre.

Hmm seems it does end the 26th... according to tfgm's site. Hmm... in fairness useless service
