Also of note:

PC0003680/493 - FIRST MANCHESTER LTD T/A FIRST, WALLSHAW STREET, OLDHAM, OL1 3TR
Variation Accepted: Operating between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield Bus Station given service number 180/184/184X effective from 26-Jan-2014. To amend Route and Timetable.

Considering that they are amending the route, could it be that they have actually listened to me and are extending the 180 to Mossley? If that is to be true, this would be the biggest change to the route of the 180 since the 427/429 were eradicated...

if that happened the 350 would just run between Hey farm and Ashton darts are running on 350 again 49244 yestaday 40403 today
Darts on 348/350 are due to the fact we have 6 vehicles off away for repairs

RE: First Manchester
Are the newer Darts replacing the older Darts at Ashton then and the B9's are staying?

Can anyone sum up the 180/184 changes?

RE: First Manchester
Well the sagar with 64029 is finally over as it back on the road with a new front-end, I saw it in Rochdale doing 12:45 469 Rochdale-Tottington service this afternoon.

Also these new B7s that are currently in service at various depot's now might be being restricted on what routes they can actually be used on as some if not all of them have got the arms and cut-outs fitted for the guide wheels for when if they go over to West Yorkshire

Someone mentioned something about the Dobcross and Huddersfield areas, though I can't imagine much can be done in either of these areas. We shall have to just wait and see I suppose, mind I have my head set on it being something to do with the 180 as that is the service that has been most in question recently within the Saddleworth area...

Thanks,
Liam Moskwin.

Well in huddersfield theres changes comming up for the Manchester Rd Services (181/3/5) So Huddersfield change might have something to do with that.

Official line is all streetlites still in Bolton Depot, the recent rumors that some had gone are totally untrue as they had been moved around the depot to allow access for the recent Eclipse 2s to be moved.

Also I believe the south west still has one or two streetlites on vf down there

We have heard a strong rumour, from a reliable source, that the streetlites in store MAY be coming down south, to our neck of the woods in Leicester. I don't know if anybody else out there has heard, or can confirm or refute this.

RE: First Manchester
Regarding the 180/184 changes in the new year, I hope the following helps to explain everything:

Service 184 Uppermill: changes in departure times of service 184 to/from Uppermill - First will still provide 3 buses per hour but at more evenly spaced intervals;

Service 184 Uppermill Sundays: Increase in frequency of Sunday buses to Uppermill. During shopping hours First will provide 3 buses per hour from Uppermill to Oldham and Manchester rather than 1. This will mean a bus every 15 minutes from Greenfield Railway Station through Grotton and Lees to Oldham and Manchester;

Services 180/184: Additional journeys mid-evening to cater for evening Shoppers; additional early journeys on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Faster timetable as roadworks related to Metrolink construction end;

Service 425 Holts and Fitton Hill: Increase in frequency at off peak times from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes;

Service 83 Sholver: revised times with faster journeys on route 83 (Monday to Saturday) and additional early Sunday morning journey introduced;

Service 408 Buckstones to Stalybridge - retimed at peak times to improve timekeeping.
