It's the axle, 4141 does it but not as loud as that! Cheers for telling me what it was on, Didn't see it at all today on any of the normal decker duties!

Route Information:
Arriva Route 37 at Peak time is getting delays up to 40 mins in my case today due to road works in Middlewich! Avoid if possible!

Aye not really poss for me to avoid middlewich, as my route home is norm the 37 then change for the 38 at sandbach. Otherwise i've gotta do it the long way round & get 31 from crewe then pik up the 38 which takes forever, aye noticed the same whine on 4141 but is not that loud tho!!!

4056 has gotta be nearly ready by now, its been almost a month since the repairs commenced on it so i'd guess finished in nxt week or 2???

Roadworks in Middlewich have finished, back to normal on 37.
S283 JUA broke down today in Moulton working the 11:26 journey from there-St Johns, 2618 replaced

If I were you guys avoid sitting upstairs on 4143, the seat backs have absolutely NO cushions in em at all so therefore its your spine providing the padding! Get 3615 in while ya can thou as it'll be off home again soon as 4056 gets on the road again.

Also anyone know why the geminis seem to be quite unreliable at times, for instance a cupla weeks ago 4490 failed at haslington & was then off the road for about a week? 4489/91 have also had troubles, plus they've got zippo character when you compare em to an olympian but hey hum that's just the march of progress sadly.

4143 was tragic while at Birkenhead, with the complete lack of seat padding upstairs, terrible acceleration and rough, squeaky ride. I haven't been near it since the move to Winsford, but out of all the North West DLAs I've had (all but 9), this is comfortably the worst.

In terms of the worst one, I would have to say S250 JUA! It's just way to slow!

To be fair, there is quite a few DLA's lacking cushioning in the backs of seats upstairs, 4097 is one, 4025, 4026,4028 & 4030 were others, there are more but just can't remember them all.

4078 and 4096 to add to that, both of those not giving a bad ride other than the seats!

In terms of worse to best ride quality (speed, acceleration, cumfyness!) - I would rate them like this! (Top being best, Bottom being worst)
