Externally, however not internally.

I think they haven't been refurbished internally ie new moquette, however 55,56 and 57 are.
I'm not 100% sure on this though

RE: Halton Transport
Halton Transport are slowly and continually adding frontal LED display units to the Capital 2s including #28.

#28,30,31,32 and 33 now have this feature, and presumably #27 will shortly, if it currently does not allready

#49 on the 61 passed me on Birchfield Road about half an hpur ago. Quite a large part of the front (right side, under the window) is literally hanging by a thread!

RE: Halton Transport
I paid for a ride on 45 on Saturday on the 14 between Liverpool and Belle Vale, despite having my valid Arriva pass, as I fancied a change of scenery. The driver was friendly and the bus was smooth, comfortable and sounded great! It was the 13:48 journey from Queen Square Bus Station, which was busy with a mix of paying passengers and passengers who had Halton's own and Merseytravel's prepaid/concessionary passes; also, traffic (gridlock in some places on the outskirts of Liverpool) delayed the journey considerably (although the bus arrived on-time in Liverpool). Overall, the journey was worth every penny of £2.10 and has prompted me to sample more of Halton Transport's services and buses (particularly the Mylenniums) in the future.

I managed to photograph Halton's morning 6 last month (not the best quality) - only just got around to uploading the photo!
