Until the fuel plant at Faverdale is completed in July, a full EcoCity operation is not possible due to the length of time to refuel them.

Unusual working indeed, here it is in Teesdale on its way back to Middlesbrough. It replaced Prestige 4062 which was presumably overheating (shock!).

A number of other unusual workings today were:

4660 did a trip on the 21a before being replaced by 1772. 4660's place on the short 27s was taken by 4056

Also worth mentioning today was Prestige 4039 making a rare appearance on Stockton service 15.

Durham take over operation of school services 459 and 462 from Jesmond as of now (when the kids go back that is)
