RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
On Saturday we saw 721 on the #360's along with 2269/2701/2703. We also saw an unidentified Solo S on the ~620 n Hindley Green.

St Helens are to get newer buses (not new) to replace the T reg darts at some point in the coming months according to a reply I received back from an initial query on the Arriva North West facebook page. Although they couldn't not give me an exact time scale.

Be interesting to see what these newer buses will be if it happens.

Thanks!

RE: Arriva North West - St Helens Depot
Possibly around the same time Green Lane receive their next Pulsar order? Would seem the logical time for the next shake-up, particularly if there are other orders for new vehicles in addition to Green Lane's.

The actual question that I asked was that with current investment are St Helens due any new buses to replace the ageing darts. The reply was that St Helens are not due any new buses but are to receive newer buses to replace the T reg darts in the coming months but could not confirm a date. So I guess we will have to wait and see.

Thanks!

Apologies, it wasn't a clearly worded post. I wasn't referring to St Helens receiving new vehicles, what I meant was that, if new vehicles are due elsewhere as well as Green Lane, their displaced vehicles could head to St Helens around that time. It was the time scale I was making reference to.

No worries, I could have worded my original post with the full question and answer but I wasx trying to save time by shortening it, so my fault.

Thanks!

SR 721 has gained Saints branding. Looks very smart!

So could be X-reg. Darts or whatever else that some other depots want to lose ? Whatever we get, I hope they are more reliable than the bus which failed to work today's 14:20 service 37 from St. Helens.

I imagine that was 2490 as 7650 had replaced it by the evening. 7

Will St Helens be getting a couple more buses with the pvr of the 329 increasing to 5(?) from Monday?
