The Cadets are ok but some do have some bad faults but there is not a lot you can do about that its just the age showing as these cadets are getting old now 13 Years old if im not Mistaken so they are doing well.

Not quite 13 years old, they are actually just over 11 1/2 years old, close but no cigar.

Thanks for confirming that mate Smile

Regarding Darts themselves, I'd say the V-DJCs are decent albeit tired, the T-PNBs mixed with 2314 excellent and 2316 dire. The R-ABAs? Can't stand their drab, tired interiors and appalling ride. Good riddance in my opinion!

can't say I'm a great fan of darts - but the LS R-ABAs I rode last saturday were all running fine. Cadets- imho are horrible slow uncomfortable things - the Arriva gods have delivered a plague of biblical proportions upon LS - I suggest sackcloth and ashes all round as a sign of repentance then maybe the gods will forgive the sinners of birkenhead and we'll get something decent.

There again I'm struggling to think of anything decent in the ANW s/d fleet that isn't due for imminent withdrawal

Saw a delightful DAF Myllennium running on a diversion on 410 this evening, due to olympic torch. Not technically an official diversion, but decided to go down the back streets on a short cut to Birkenhead park station skipping out the town centre completely!

I am no longer active on this forum.

That, what I call initiative. I don't understand why they didn't route the torch on the streets parallel to conway Street instead thus freeing up access for the bus routes,

Yesterdays notes,

7547 was plowing on, on the 411.
4203, 2314 and 2316 on the 410.
7558 on the 403/413 and stayed on the 423 all night despite not having a fast tag.

7554 and 7557 still going strong, could be their last day?... That 2345 is a cracking little bus, sounds spot on and barely rattles!
