YJ59 GHF appears to be the regular on the 272. So far I haven't seen anything else on it. |

There's no mention of Macclesfield anywhere, either. I'm not sure what the rules are regarding outstations/depots and whether everywhere has to be listed. A mystery! |

RE: GHA Group (GHA Coaches, Bryn Melyn and Vale Travel)
As noted in the VOSA bus registrations thread, GHA will take over the Cheshire East contract for service 130 (Macclesfield - Wilmslow - Manchester) from this coming Sunday (13th Jan). It will be interesting to see what vehicles are used on this, as there are (to my knowledge) only two low floor vehicles based at Macclesfield depot (assuming the service will be run from there). One of these is recently-acquired Solo YJ60KBN, in Vale Travel livery. This is used on service 200 (Wilmslow - Manchester Airport), which runs daily. Hence only one vehicle (that used weekdays on the 19 Macclesfield - Prestbury) will be available on a Sunday. I believe the PVR for the 130 is 3, so vehicles will have to be brought in, presumably from Tarvin, which will incur a great deal of empty mileage. It would make sense to me to transfer the 88 service (Knutsford - Wilmslow - Altrincham) to Macclesfield depot. I think the distance from Macclesfield to Knutsford/Wilmslow is slightly less than that from Tarvin, and the three vehicles needed for this service (Versas MX58KZE/F and Dart SN03DZZ) would be available at Macclesfield on Sundays for the 130. SN03DZZ is used in Macclesfield once a week anyway, on the RR3 from Disley. It will be interesting to note whether this will be the case. |

Macclesfield isn't a depot as such, just a secure parking area. There are currently no Vale Travel maintenance or cashing-up facilities on site, and another couple of buses may create capacity and access issues as the haulier that owns the yard has regular vehicle movements in and out of a warehouse in the yard. |

They have invited their customers to make comments and suggestions. Ron DLG817
I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group The address and a link is www.Ronsbusesandcoaches.com

They intend to use both the Connect 88 Versas, plus either BA/CA07GHA / GHA livery solo YJ59GHF. Would be interested to hear of any reports of actual sightings. Also sad to report that the ex Midland Red South ECW bodied Olympian A549HAC went on its final journey today to Lelo Metals. DLG817

I've been reliably informed that YJ59GHF and the 88 Versas are the vehicles being used for the 130 on Sunday. |
