was going to be but once they had a closer look they gave it WY to save dead mileage fuel

When I heard Arriva were to toperate the 22 I did at first think BN Because First manchester do it from Bolton. For Arrivas point of view having a garage in whythenshawe not far from stockport makes more sense, than from up here mileage wise.

i think the reason behind it is the tendered 22 services start and finish in sockport

So with no stockport depot, WY is closer to stockport, and that suits the tender
