Certainly would help. Only thing we can detect from that is that the 502 is probably a circular route. Where it runs, we have to wait and see.

i think there was a 502 ran by first a good few years back but that dont mean its same route

There was but it was never a circular; it duplicated the 501, but went to Barrow Bridge instead of Moss Bank Way:
- withdrawn Jan 2003, replaced by extended 526 (which was reduced to hourly by First)
- reintroduced Oct 2004, run by Blue Bus on tender (Bolton - Barrow Bridge only). Ran every 30 minutes with a dedicated driver on most days.
- withdrawn July 2005, replaced by Local Link service.

Wow, another route for HTL!

I has a suspicion Ace hadn't retained the 211, purely because of the posters in Ace buses from Merseytravel advising that any rumour the service was untrue and that is was just up for tender in August.
