Otherwise, maybe rename the threads, as they represent the same depots albeit no longer under Arriva (or Stagecoach in the case of Gillmoss).

That will be rather fun to explain in Neston that you can use Merseytravel tickets on the 487 (Metro) but not the 22 (CW&C)

It's simply because the 487 is a Metro route were as the 22/22A is not a Metro route.

Will it be the same as explaining to the residents of Rock Ferry, New Ferry, Port Sunlight, Bromborough and Eastham that they can’t use a ticket bought on the 1 X1 on the 416 417 438 441 and 442?

The 453 has already been curtailed to operate between Irby and Clatterbridge, with only the 453S operating to/from Thingwall.

The 453 doesn't even operate into the Clatterbridge Hospital internal roads.

Very odd one this 453, bizarre route number linked to a school bus route and not even shown on the map. Would have been much better numbering it say 476 to fit in with the other Heswall services, ideally it would have been to linked to one of the existing services (possibly recreating part of the old Crosville 85) or a circular service created with the current 73. Unfortunately the graduates in Mann Island know best..

Noticed the 129 (Liscard-Frankby Cemetery) is to be retained, numbered 429.

Any more last minute changes to be made?

The 453 would be better off if it went to West Kirby via Greasby complementing the 22/22A, like the 38/39 once did when that was Birkenhead, Mill Park/Eastham Ferry via West Kirby & Heswall.

One thing Stagecoach & Arriva put deckers on the 38/414 because of the schools & 6th form college on the route, single deck vehicles can't take the loads leaving people behind, does bother me that the new network might be too rigid when it comes to allocating vehicles for routes so you'll see 100% single decks on these routes rather than the odd decker to cope with the loads at School chucking out time.

Don’t know why the 473 couldn’t return to Heswall via Clatterbridge and have a 473A do the circular in the other direction. Having said that I’m glad there is a link from Heswall to Clatterbridge at last.

Also no link to Arrowe Park from Noctorum or Claughton. Bring the old 10/10A back?

Saughall massie has arguably too many buses in the evenings. Don’t know why the Moreton circulars even run until 11.

Does the evening and Sunday 417 buses really have a 40 odd minute layover at Moreton cross? Seems a massive waste of resources and money.
