RE: Merseyside & Halton Bus Timetables
So, to kick things off, I recently contacted Arriva and asked for the new 82A and 500 Express timetables that take effect on 30/08.

The response I got back was they were able to provide the ‘new’ 500 timetable, but unfortunately the 82A’s wasn’t available.

Upon closer inspection of the new 500 timetable, they’ve actually still included the current 500 timetable, as well as the Express one. Take a look for yourselves here.

It’s like they really do not anyone to know the current 500 is to become the 82A. I assume this is to avoid any early complaints, as I don’t think some are too fond of the idea of the 82A not serving Jericho Lane.

Edit: I know Halton Council have the 82A timetable on their website but Arriva themselves don’t seem too keen on publicising the changes.

So were are you looking on the ARRIVA site???? I have found it check this link https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/north-west/s...n=outbound plus the PDF file https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/GetTimetable...830-201112

But what as got me confused the the 62A on the Halton Council site it show it every 30 minutes following the same route as the 82A to Halebank shown here https://www3.halton.gov.uk/Pages/publict...e62new.pdf
But on the Arriva it shows it every 20 minutes with one still going the orignal route in Runcorn shown here
https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/north-west/s...ate=200830 plus the PDF file https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/GetTimetable...830-201112

Of course as soon as I mention the timetable not wanting to be found they upload it haha. Thank you for finding that.

Also I’m pretty sure from the 30th the Arriva 62 journeys follow the 82A to help its frequency. I’m not sure about the 62 frequency itself though. I do find Halton’s site a little hard to navigate to be honest.

RE: Merseyside & Halton Bus Timetables
I've spotted a change to the 79/79D from the 30th August. All services will be numbered 79 with half the services terminating at Queen Square and the other half running to L1 via Hanover Street.

Here's the timetable: https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/GetTimetable...830-201112

Strange of them to do that. Luckily I still had the PDF open on my phone.

Screenshots below Wink

Edit: Seems like they just edited the link for some reason. Press here for the timetable.

The shop in St Helens is still open but they don't have timetables as this was the first of their shops to try digital only - not sure if this has been rolled out to their other shops.

Just checked Arriva's website, Wirral services 407. 409, 413, 414, 423 and 471/472 will be resuming their pre-Covid timetables from 30th August. 418 unchanged for now
