RE: Merseyrail Due to impending Storm Ciara , Chester line services will be revised and will now operate to merseyrail's autumn leaf fall timetable , this means services leave Chester five minutes earlier and arrive at chester five minutes later. This also means the Chester service is maintained with 4 units instead of 3 units.

RE: Merseyrail Yesterday Monday 24th February , There was a rail replacement bus service for about 2 hours due to flooding of the line between Hooton and Capenhurst .

This year the flooding in that area has been particularly bad , i have lost count now how many times a bus service has had to be implemented on this part of the merseyrail network.

508130 is OK as it was in use with 507023 on the 0758 Southport - Hunts Cross this morning.
