2497 left Southport about 3 weeks ago. Heard it is now in Bolton or Wythenshawe.

Also 2631 will come to Southport after attention at the bodyshop as a replacement for 2639.

2629 has fallen out of use at Birkenhead, with engine issues.

Any updates as to the status of 2495 at Southport? Has it started to surrender parts, ultimately securing its fate?

2495 never made it back to Southport. It is languishing at the back of Green Lane. I would have thought it would be cannibalised for parts.

A very pleasant surprise for me today was a trip on 2491 between sandbach & northwich.

Must say I was delighted with how well it's aged, now has WiFi fitted but still retains the old green interior which still looks quite smart. Seems reasonably zippy, obviously it's got a few squeaks & rattles which are to be expected with age. Bodywork was really tidy & driver said it handled well & he'd take an old cadet over a plaxton centro anyday of the week!!!!

I need a pictures of 2491 and was planning on going to crewe today but I'll try Thursday and hopefully it's on or around crewe and winsford and then I need 2497/8
