I recall when GHA Coaches got the Gold Enviros for the 88 route and then decided to start using them on the 130 Sunday and Bank Holiday service as well. It resulted in the number of times an 88 bus was operated by the 'wrong bus' increasing. |

The crazy thing is these MMC's are still under warrenty so it would make sense to use them as much as possible while they are covered by warrenty but it seems while they look fresh and new it's strictly 391/2 only until they pick up some battle scars |

Not sure how they'll work the stockport duties around the roadworks because it'll get interesting soon! Mill hill hollow in poynton will be closed due to a bridge being repaired & also springbank lane in higher poynton will be shut for a month. So some lenghthy diversions will be needed. |

The whole idea of using brand new vehicles instead of used vehicles is that they come with a manufacturers warrenty for a certain period of their life. It doesn’t matter who’s leasing or owns a vehicle it’s covered by the warrenty. |

It was retained by engineering this morning for some warrenty work so stayed in the depot. One of the TFGM hybrids developed a fault mid morning and the only vehicle available was ONS so it was quickly despatched and put to use, however it was replaced on the duty by DK56LWJ at teatime and it was straight back to the depot for ONS for inspection and a deep clean |

Those poor people! DK56 LWJ is a right state, the bodywork is covered in dents scrapes & other damage. Not the best image to present passengers with is it? |
