RE: Stagecoach MCSL - Chester & Wirral Depots
Some very interesting changes ahead. Here's a list of all the changes due to happen from both Rock Ferry and Chester depots from September 2nd. Timetables are also put in if they are online. Hopefully this provides a good summary for people. I will edit this post if/when more timetables become online though CWaCC are known for being slow to update the bus and coach database. I don't know how good Merseytravel are at updating it.

- 5 Huntington - Extended to Wrexham General Train Station (via Farndon, Holt and Wrexham Bus Station) every 90 mins. Earlier bus as well (Judging by timings this is a placement for the 06:10 53). Also an extra Sunday trip added at 18:44 into Chester. For some reason, it looks like Holt village has no services in the change (Could this be to do with the bridge closure causing issues? I doubt this will remain like this and if it is omitting Holt, it will probably go back when the bridge reopens)

- 5 Mold - Retimed. giving between 2 and 7 minutes longer per journey. Also finally fixed the very daft timings between Cheshire Oaks and Queensferry Asda which are currently (in my opinion) the cause of most delays on this service

The new 1/2, 38 and X8 timetables have been on Merseytravel for a few days now

Wow. they put timetables up before they have even done the service changes. Merseytravel never fails to surprise me. Thanks for letting me know. I have just edited the post and updated the links.

Stagecoach have registered a 41C Chester to Waverton service which is showing as 'not supported by subsides' on the registration.

A couple of journeys to compensate in part for the loss of the C56 service along the Waverton to Boughton Heath section.

What the actual heck? All that for 4 bus stops. I think that will be a partial coverup. It will be the 'bus' duty on the staff shuttles (normally there is the minibus plus a bus on shuttles). While it is on driver shuttles, give it a reason to make 50p. (plus earn 30% fuel rebate which you don't get running dead). It is better and saves money running in service even if it takes no normal passengers. It was was actually to compensate for the loss of the C56, it would start in Saighton as the post office and primary school aren't served. The only stop Saighton now has is the unmarked stop at Abbey Gate College which most drivers don't know about. (I know due to the bus and coach database and also transport-points.co.uk which logs every single bus stop whether used or not).
