The main driving school is now based at speke which is where the driving instructors are based but each depot may retain a training bus .

I've heard a couple of rumours about 2797-9 but I'll try and find out what's happening with them

Last I heard was they were to remain as PCV's at Chester until after Christmas or possibly longer.
As 2662 2663 and 2664 were due to replace them at Chester when Bootle received its new MMC's it does seem as though the trio may well remain in service for a little while longer.

Interestingly 2797-9 will be the only single decker Volvos left in proper service in the North West and Wales fleet presuming no more are ordered after the last of the B10s are withdrawn
