I see the seats also have Sapphire on them, I thought that brand name was also due to be discontinued? Can someone confirm whether these are hybrids or not? It was suggested earlier in the thread that they would be hybrids; but if they're E40D, I believe that's the non-hybrid version? |

RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
I think the idea of premium branding has since been scrapped and they are now sticking to their traditional sapphire as for the new logo that is to be rolled out in 2018 so at the moment i think everything retains old logos. Also they were suspected to be Hybrids at first but they're integrals and are E40Ds |

Great photos Macauley, they are very high spec buses. I saw your comment on facebook about it being quite hot on the top deck. I hope they're not going to be mobile greenhouses lol.. Hopefully they will be ok when they're moving and air is circulating. Also ... They've put posters up in the buses today regarding the upcoming route and timetable changes.. It's starting to kick off on their Facebook page, a lot of unhappy people complaining, mainly about the Penycae service not going to be operating through Rhostyllen village, Gardden road and Afoneitha estate. |
