I wonder in the near future that Avon extend the 122 to Liverpool covering the 23 route after it has been established properly, it'll be good to see more of their routes in the city centre, especially when the 135/235 get extended to serve the City Centre

Went on the new 91 today, strange route out of town! Will take a bit of time getting used to it. I'm sure passengers get annoyed at the constant changes to the 12, 93- 91/92 etc the routes are altered and causes confusion.

That is the only problem with avon the constant chopping off of this part of routes to add to that route , this seems to happen on average once a year , much worse than Stagecoach and Arriva , who do it less regularly these days.

I don't think Avon can carry a service/route that clearly isn't working like arriva or stagecoach can as they can absorb it elsewhere. I was surprised they stopped the 93 to Liverpool as every time I travelled on this it was always busy.

Sometimes services take time to build passenger numbers just look at the X8.
Imperia started the 39 New Brighton to West Kirby which resulted in arriva introducing the 414 Arrowe Park- New Brighton and also the 98 to Liverpool.

I personally think the West Kirby - Hoylake - Meols stretch could do with a direct Liverpool Service especially with the current rail replacement work in the rails ! I'm surprised no one has thought about a 438 !

It's only Avon now that's left to try different routes. As Arriva and Stagecoach seem happy with Status Quo.

I think ALX deckers would have looked better in thier livery.

Yes both are Presidents and i dont think either have been repainted yet

To be honest Stagecoach would not take kindly to a service out of West kirby as it would reduce the viability of the 38 and then would affect Arriva's 407 from Moreton into Liverpool. Avon have been very adept at not really standing on Stagecoach or Arriva's feet on the Wirral.

I think the plain blue would suit avons fleet .

Great photos thanks for sharing. As they are already in Blue and it's not too disimilar to their new livery I don't think they will be in a rush to re-paint !
