Does anyone who has an inside track at Southport know if they plan to use deckers on the 47 this Boxing Day like last year? Thanks in advance. Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

RE: Arriva North West - Southport Depot
I had Pulsar 2 MX10 CZJ (3045) from Wigan to Skelmersdale this evening on my 385 journey. This bus was extremely sluggish - not good for the steep hills! (The driver was whom who took CX55 EAW [4107] to the Wirral Bus and Tram Show 2012.) I noticed three/four Pulsar 2s on the 375/385 today - where are the NEEDED double-deckers? It amazes me that, even in these modern times, bus heating systems still cannot be maintained properly. And it annoys me that management often expect their drivers to spend up to five hours in the freezing cold. Would they put up with that sort of cold in their office? |
