Saw 63106 the other day, must say its an ugly bugger but if you look at the front end it looks like its smiling! Are first gonna run their new operations (ex finglands) from their old depot in rusholme or sell it off?

Plus i'd guess they'll probs sell off/scrap the older buses i.e. the olympians. Shame as they're really good vehicles but hey ho times move on.

The Finglands vehicles are returning to EYMS

The Rusholme depot will continue to be leased and used by First.

Haven't seen any Finglands buses today, only First buses on Finglands routes. Route 41 seems to be all Streetlite.

Finglands buses have all returned to EYMS or are being stored at other First depots until EYMS collect them. All Finglands routes should now be run with First vehicles and First ticket machines.

Saw 39209 on Northenden Road in Sale this afternoon possibly on route 41.

37454 back at Oldham depot, still with its cared for by Pioneer depot sticker, operating on the 83 this afternoon.

EX First York 30965 was in service on 99s this afternoon, it did 13:45 Piccadilly-Sale service, the incoming service was one of the streetlites.

Also 63105 was used on former Finglands School Service 147 this afternoon picking up kids from one of the Grammar Schools just off Wilmslow Road

someone's theory on another site suggested was the deckers were for schools and the Streetlites were for normal services so given that 30965 was used on the 99 blows that theory out of the water.

Its also been mentioned elsewhere that changeovers outside Rusholme depot today were taking up too 12 minutes, with drivers apparently struggling with the ticket machines. Quite surprising as ive always found First changeovers a lot quicker than Stagecoach's but I suppose its to be expected in the first few days.
