37288/89 are predominately used for the 184 service but sometimes it can end up on other services. I have heard that it was once used on the Mecca Bingo service one Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday.

The numbering for the branded services are a bit jumbled up now. Only the old 180/184 branded buses seem to have stayed grouped together (37382 in new livery but no branding yet). From recollection, 37441 and 37443 are branded for the 58/59, while 37442 is branded for the 180/184.

Youve got a better chance of seeing the 2 huddersfield Volvo B9TLs on The Uni Runs,Mega Bingo,Staff Bus 200 Or 307 Than on 184!

May seem that way occasionally, but their allocation generally is quite well done. Can't imagine they are that easily distinguished by staff who wouldn't look twice usually, and for them to be on the 184 about 90% of the time, I think they do an alright job

37289 was once working a Halifax depot route by one of their drivers but the bus was not a loan they went to Huddersfield for it

The 508 if I remember correctly, I could be wrong though. If I remember also, buses were just used from the Huddersfield depot for all of Halifax routes that day I think - it was a bank holiday.

Could have been Boxing Day, when Huddersfield depot runs the 503, which I believe then interworks with the 508 to Leeds.

Latest service changes on the TfGM website says the 12 (Leigh-Manchester) will re-time the 7.05am and 7.35am weekday journeys from Leigh from next Monday (11 June).

May not be the only change in the near future regarding Leigh-Manchester services going off First's VOSA registrations recently with the 26 merged into the 12's registration, along with a sevice 25 and a route and timetable variation for the X34.

Few service changes coming up shortly for First Manchester:

610 Wigan-Hawkley Hall Circular, this will be extended to serve Lockett Road (Bryn Depot) from 22nd July, route will be normal route to St Paul's Avenue, left onto Carr Lane, right Fulbeck Avenu (basically the opposite way round Hawkley Hall than currently), left Warrington Road then down to Lockett Road past the depot (stopping for staff) continuing around Industrial Estate, right back upto Bryn Cross, right along A49 down to Marus Bridge roundabout, back on itself along A49 upto Ben Johnson then left then normal route back through Hawkley Hall to Wigan

As for 26 this is actually being withdrawn completely and X34 is being rerouted through Boothstown to partly cover the missing 26 and 12 is also being changed to incoporate part of the missing 26 and new service 25 which I haven't got any info as of yet
