In the franchise agreement the vehicles would probably have been audited by the City Region at the depots involved and any vehicles removed would have to be replaced by vehicles of the same age . So new vwhicles will not be replaced by decrepit vehicles thats for sure . |

Obviously we have had the Xmas period, so could be possibly next week, unless its extended. Is there concrete proof you can share that this was the case? |

RE: Liverpool City Region Bus Franchising
Another thing 2nd January is an odd day to announce franchise winners, as it's still Festive season [2nd January being a Friday doesn't help things] & would have thought Government offices including LCR would be closed with staff off on holiday until 5th January. |

It would be funny if the first Liverpool City Region franchises are announced on Monday 5th. It would be a year to the day when the final Bee Network services were introduced in Greater Manchester. |

Well as someone mentioned earlier if it was 2 week appeal process from the 19th Dec, which might be working day only with the Christmas break puts it back another week. And then if anyone has appealed surely that would delay the public announcement too. Was jcksmnr |

Yeah i would have thought local authority's [including Liverpool City Region] would have there offices closed with staff off on holiday from 19th December until 5th January, if someone has appealed i won't be surprised if the announcement is in the next couple of weeks. |
