On Stockport to Chester & Doncaster to Scunthorpe, there should be a bus buddy on the coach.

RE: Northern rail replacement buses on Sunday
Yesterday there were a lot of cancellations on the Mid Cheshire line due to a track defect. Northern only arranged a very limited number of replacement buses, in relation to the high number of cancellations e.g. if someone just missed one train, they may have found themselves waiting 3 hours for the next train with no replacement bus. However, it appears from X that one of the replacement buses was operated by S-Line and departed 30 minutes later than Northern advised, but their social team were able to pass on that info. It would be better if apps like National Rail had live running info for replacement buses. I'm sure they trialled it but it never seemed to be properly rolled out.
