ok thought we only did2 stockport schools 802am/pm and 845am/371pm 2 buses we may have swapped 845 in sept with 816 is it deffo our scrapheaps not oldhams

Hi James, 31929, 31936, 31943 & 31948 have all done it. On two days 2 weeks ago a dart did it (same one both days & I think the same female driver on the dart). The 816 only does the am route to Cheadle Hulme High School (it used to be called Woods Lane High School when I was attending St James High School)

Coverage in the Oldham Chronicle of the scheduled service changes in Oldham at the end of the month. Oldham councillor Jim McCann, who lives in Dobcross, so will be affected with the 184 changes, is not happy with it:

“How can a poor service be reduced any more? It’s a disgrace. Diggle would have one bus an hour.”

“These reductions defy common sense; they will put more cars on the road hunting for parking spaces. Even more hurtful will be the restrictions inflicted on the most vulnerable, whose social network and access to doctors, chemists, library and local shops will be restricted even more.”

I have to agree that the set-back of services in Diggle and Greenfield are bloody ludicrous. I know for a fact I'd improve the 184 to every 30 minutes throughout if I was in charge, or at least improve it to Diggle to every 20 minutes. They literally are just crying out loud for a decent bus service and it just gets pulled from them every time.

Sending 69140 a very good decent B7, in exchange for an older B7 such as 66931 makes no sense
