New Route: Wallasey Village - Birkenhead circulars

Service 408 Changes: New service 408 introduced to run via Wallasey Village, Breck Road, Poulton Road and Seacombe through to Woodside.

Service 409 Changes: Service 409 is re-routed to run as circular service from Woodside via Birkenhead Bus Station, Seacombe, Liscard, Wallasey Village, Poulton, Seacombe and Woodside And Now Also Serves Breck Road And Poulton Road.

New Route: New Ferry Shorefields - Birkenhead Bus Station

Service 118 Changes: Service Withdrawn.

Service 119 Changes: Service Withdrawn.

Service 218 Changes: Service Renumberd 418.

Service 418 Changes: The 418 now operates as a circular route between New Ferry and Birkenhead Bus Station on Mondays to Saturdays Daytime. No service on Monday To Saturday Evenings, Sundays or bank holidays. Service No Longer Serves Port Sunlight, Brombrough, Eastham Or Mill Park.

Service 419 Changes: Service Withdrawn.

It was when it was meant to be a 39 but now with it being just a 38 i think its been merged like they did with the Sandbrook amd Saughall Massie extentions as those parts on Evening Sunday Merseytravel pay us to do....same on 41A and 42 from Halfway house to Arrowe Park of a night Merseytravel pay us to do that bit

So i presume be same with 38 Merseytravel will just pay us New Ferry to Mill Park bar that one 39B which be paid in full...

From what I can gather the usual fares will apply throughout (£2.10 single Adult, £1.10 single child)

I do wonder whether the handing back of the 175 by Arriva was also to remove the Optare Solo's from Birkenhead .

I dont think you've seen the end of this review , i would how long it is before there is another one to tie up loose ends that were not noticed until all the services actually started .

I think most of these reviews appear to be continually looked at. We had the St Helens review implemented in September last year and we are still seeing tweaks being applied.
