37296 was put back into service without vinyls etc, due to the shortage of buses at Bury Depot, they needed it in service. The stickers also just didn't turn up when painting was complete. Soon as they arrive they will be put on.

B7RLE at Bryn may possibly be an Oldham one, as some Oldham B7s ate being painted at Wigan


Not surprised to hear of 31920s problems of late, there have been a few issues of late with this Arrow

Be careful with your wording there. It wasn't withdrawn from service as in end of it's life being taken for scrap, it was simply replaced by another bus because it had some problems - not fully withdrawn from service Typical scenario that happens all the time, especially in Wigan with the Excels and that anyway! :P

just updated first manchester group fleet list up to last sunday please note i have not inculed first Chester and Wirral as someone else has a list of those on here also not in are expected buses and accirraly fleet ie 90000s

A very reliable source tells that First are looking to make changes to the allocations for the 135 and 471, in other words. Currently deciding wheather to switch the entire scania omni city fleet 12001/18 to the 471 full time. The reason being to free up the city centre. 10017 is most likely going to be painted up and maybe 135 maybe 471?. At the moment though said bus has been sat idle in Bury Depot for a few days.

I would assume, that If first at Bury decide to switch allocations, then its most likely B9s will be the regular allocation/normal sightings on this.

135 had a B9TL on the route this afternoon in the new livery (37298), although it had Manchester Corporation Street on the front rather than Manchester Piccadilly.

Interesting situation with the repaints at Bury, 37296,98,99 done, something tells me 37297 won't be done yet, as they have got to fix it first and keep it running, poor thing is struggling



In other news just had 31919 on the 572 talk about knackered gear box one gear all round that route, took ages.. Withdraw it now if it was up to me, but sadly it's not

must have been a slow driver as i went on this on Thursday & it was fine albeit been slow on the 519 due to it been early... & if you want an arrow with a knackered gearbox i would suggest to get on 31930 as that struggles more than anything else going! 1 gear all around on the 628 Kitt Green Circular revving to max & banging everytime it went into 3rd gear... Which was as many times as i can count on 1 hand.
