Those were the days!
Funnily enough, this will mean a return to 10 buses per hour, just with 4 of them per hour being run by Fairbrothers and 6 by Network Warrington.
Fairbrothers's 16H and 16T will soon increase that further too.

RE: WBT Network Warrington
New times for the 16(A) from Monday are on the bustimes website.

The 16 will depart Warrington at 58, 18 and 38 past the hour during the day.
The 16A will depart Warrington at 08, 28 and 48 past the hour during the day.

This would probably mean interworking in a pattern something like 16(A) -> 4A -> 16(A) -> 10
and 2 -> 16(A) -> 14,
or these could be combined.

Apparently the new Enviro200s are to be the 11.8 metre variant

An image of the Cheshire Cat livery is available on this article:

It seems that the frequency through Stockton Heath will remain every 10 minutes.
One thing which will contribute to the "simplification" of these services is the axing of the 35 (and 47), no doubt with the 5 becoming more frequent.

In other news, the new 16(A) timetable is now available:

Thank you for bringing our attention to the Cheshire Cat article. The management certainly seem purr-leased with themselves. Sorry! Laugh

The livery is a total different turn away from the warrington red and cream.

RE: WBT Network Warrington
One thing to point out...the north west bus blog indicates the vehicles will have the larger 6 cylinder Cummins engine. My understanding is it will be the smaller 4 cylinder cummins engine with a voith gearbox...
