When I used to take Atlanteans over it, it was just "7.5 T" in a red circle - I was specifically told by the Ops Manager that we had an exemption.

The sign was still there in 2009 according to Google Street View, but I haven't been along that road in many years, so it may well have been changed to the wagon-specific one since then.
