Another interesting point is that 1236 used the Atlantean PDR chassis, whereas 1070 used the later AN68 version. Not sure when Leyland launched the Atlantean AN68, but the MPTE bought hundreds of them. I think 1296 (DKC 296L) was their first AN68, but that would've been scrapped ages ago. |
