The opertunity was there in Warrington to run a decent kind of alternative to NW and I think given time and more importantly consistency I think it could have paid off in the long run but I don't think that was there plan.

I had my doubts they would stick around long term from the moment they started but when they bought the metrocities, branded them for Warrington and started up on the 16 I totally expected them to have a hold on Warrington within a matter of months and I am quite surprised really that they are scaling back. I think with GHA it hasn't been a case of "smash and grab" but rather that they have been impatient and just like you said they have been far to inconsistent, something that as a bus operator is the most important thing to passengers.
