The fact that two garages are involved was bound to thicken the plot. My journeys should be the 8.54 or 9.35 from Gateshead to Durham, to connect with a 22 to Hartlepool. It would feel boring if both were the same vehicle type!

As my Gateshead-Newcastle journey would be to head to Carlisle for east Cumbria then home a few days later, the vehicle type would be immaterial then.
