There are 2 journeys towards Blackpool (0757/1716) and 1 journey from Blackpool (1803) - I think the journey back from Blackpool is too early for people coming back from the Illuminations although probably better to get there on a Sunday when all journeys run through to Blackpool. Today was the first day of the truncated Preston service - seen 319 362 and came back from Wigan on 319 369 - was strange at Wigan seeing a 319 coming down from the North. The only concern I have is timekeeping as there is only a 4 minute turn around at Preston (arrives at xx26, departs at xx30). As I have mentioned before, keeping to time North of Wigan is a challenge with the 2 track bottleneck that is Exuton - Wigan. |
