As good (and indeed vital) as this would be, I just can't see it happening. According to a recent fleet list, there are 22 of the 59 plate Scania Enviro400s at Chorley, which wouldn't be enough to cover the 20/21 PVR which I calculate is 29 or 30.

Realistically, this being Stagecoach Merseyside, if any of these Scanias do come to Gillmoss, it will just be a replacement for the current token fleet of Tridents. Still, we live in hope these rumours are true!
