These could be the first Optare Solo micro-hybrids anywhere in the country. I had considered coming to Halifax to ride Barkisland routes (including the E8) in November but I shall now postpone until these Solo SRs are in service.

Meanwhile, Yorkshire Tiger's sister company K-Line is undergoing a re-brand with buses given a new all blue livery and branded as Tiger Blue brought to you by KLine.

These are elegant, but the blue reminds me of BlueStar in the Southampton area. It may have been intended to match Flying Tiger buses. I prefer it to Yorkshire Tiger orange but would have preferred K-Line to have been absorbed into Yorkshire Tiger (or even Arriva Yorkshire).
