I can see what you're getting at. I think I know the real reason they went for bendies. It probably had nothing to do with capacity. No, it was more the case of something that caught the eye. In that regard, the bendies worked; everyone noticed. They may have caught peoples eye, it's a pity those people didn't catch the bus.

Although it would add to running times, I had suggested before calling in at Preston. That would make the service Blackpool - Preston - Manchester. It would also give folk the choice of Blackpool - Preston.

Then again, look at their route 12. If they extended that into St. Annes, and kept it all year round, it would provide a faster link into Blackpool. Wise thinking now.
