To be honest I've never found any of the younger Enviro400's too bad. The noisey cooling fans only seem to effect the older Enviro400s. From the 08's onwards the engines are generally a lot quieter even when accelerating uphill.

Hopefully with the arrival of these new buses over the next few months we can see off the remaining older sheds

I think Stagecoach Manchester may take this opportunity to finally get rid of the S reg MAN's. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a few Enviro400's (of any age) go to Wigan or Middleton.

The 'S' reg MAN's that I've been on in Stockport recently sound a lot better than quite a few of the 'X' reg's.
