I think you're clearly missing the point of a pool vehicle. Pool vehicles can simply be allocated to any depot that needs it the most whether it is for service or breaking/spares, usually where head office find a place that is most suitable. So being in the pool, yes it may be allocated to a depot but it is much easier for them to shift the buses around to a more suitable depot if the need be if it was for use in service.

What are you on about? 7650 says "Birkenhead", not "Pool"...

I think he might be referring to 819 or even the whole lot.
