Depends how far back you want to go, pre de-reg there was a ribble 365 that used to go Skelmersdale - Liverpool, going out through Wango Lane up to Aintree. Think there used to be a 306 that went Waddicar Lane, through to Aintree as well, think that was Ormskirk-Liverpool but can't quite remember for certain. Later a while after de-reg, the 365 went and changed to 355 but didnt go Aintree buy North Western re-routed the 345 to go through Kirkby, and then back on normal route when it went back through Waddicar Lane.
The 365 was axed on D-day when the 355 was introduced, prior to the 365 the 305 ran instead running up Aintree lane to Bull bridge lane re-joining 345 route to Skem.
Such a shame these services have long gone they were well used in their heyday, would re-regulation be a bad thing??!!
Knew the 365 had gone quickly, didn't realise it was instant, as for 305, well that is before my time. With the 306, I remember Merseybus doing a Kirkby-Ormskirk for a bit, they always used to use the buses with the experimental Dark Green Colours, which at GM was 1955 or 1957.
