So it looks set to be a wet lease between Aer Lingus and Virgin then. Similar situation to that between Easyjet and Air Finland when 2 752s and crew were leased and painted up (the aircraft, not the crew!) for the summer season.

It won't be a case of the Virgin crews not being trained, the conversion from an A330/A340 type rating to an A319/20/21 rating takes no time at all due to the similarity of the two flight decks.
